The Imperial Hotel, Manchester, occupies a white rendered building at the end of a Victorian terrace just over a mile from the city centre, 500 metres' walk from the University. Piccadilly train station is one mile away and the airport is seven miles and about a 20 minute journey form the city centre. There is a frequent train service between the airport and the Piccadilly Station in the city centre, from where the 43A bus runs to the vicinity of the hotel. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals hall of each terminal. Expect the fare to cost around 15 GBP.
