Due Torri hotel Baglioni is housed within a thirteenth century mansion next door to the church of Sant' Anastasia and 300 metres from the legendary balcony of Juliet's house. Imperial style meets Biedermeier in the antique filled guestrooms whose previous occupants include Mozart and Goethe. All 90 have parquet floors, rich fabrics and wallpaper, chandeliers and marble bathrooms. Amenities include minibars, cable television and complimentary toiletries.
Traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist are served in the candlelit All'Aquila Restaurant, where Asian ceramics mingle with Murano glass lamps. Appetisers and cocktails can be taken in the less formal Caffe Baglioni, which has a long list of Italian and world wines. The concierge desk is situated in the lobby and offers a limo service and takes bookings for excursions, including a wine tasting tour of Verona's most exclusive cellars. Maps and information can also be obtained here for local sights and attractions, including the modern art museum, the cathedral, antique market and outdoor opera house. A parking garage with valet service awaits guests arriving by car, who find Verona Catullo Airport at a distance of 15 kilometres from the hotel.

Guests can take a train from Verona's airport to central train station (Verona Porta Nuova), or take advantage of hotel transport, costing around 35 EUR for a maximum of three people. A taxi costs about the same amount. Verona's historic centre is closed to traffic for much of the day, but a good bus service operates. Tickets must be bought before boarding and can be obtained from tobacconists and newsagents. Taxi ranks feature all over.
From the airport, take the highway in the direction of Verona Centre, exiting at Verona Centro. At the traffic lights turn left into Porta Paio, continue to Corso Porta Palio, Corso Cavour and Lungadine Panvinio. Take a right into Via Garibaldi and left into Via Barchetta. Turn right into Via Duomo and straight on to the hotel.
