The IFA Fehmarn Hotel & Ferien Centrum is a modern, beachfront resort hotel on the island of Fehmarn, just off Germany's Baltic coast, three kilometres from the town of Burg. The 420 guestrooms, arranged over 17 floors, have neutral decor, functional furnishings and balconies with sea views. All have satellite television, direct dial phones, coffee/tea makers, separate sitting areas and dining areas; Kitchenettes have cookware, dishes, toasters and coffee machines. The half board rate option incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
The hotel complex, right on the beautiful sandy beach, has a small parade of shops including a supermarket, bakery, souvenir shop and kiosk, as well as a launderette. Guests can relax whatever the weather in the 3,000 square metre, glass covered leisure area which offers a children's playground, restaurants and panoramic views over the Baltic Sea. Guests can also treat themselves to a sauna, beauty services, solarium, massage and thalassotherapy in the Wellness Centre, while children are kept amused with organised activities at the Kids' club. The hotel has several dining and drinking options; The Windrose Restaurant which offers candlelit dining with views across the sea, The PPS Pizza Pasta Steak Restaurant featuring Tex Mex burgers, pizzas and snacks, and the Fischerkate Bar, a traditional pub serving international cocktails and beers. The hotel is only five metres from the beach and the Baltic Sea, and just three kilometres from the harbour town of Burg. Hamburg Fuhlsb�ttel Airport is 150 kilometres from the hotel.

The hotel offers airport transfers for a charge, and taxis are also available. The best way to see the surrounding countryside is to hire a car.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A1 via Hamburg L�beck Oldenburg/Holstein and then via the Vogelfluglinie over the Fehmarn Sound Bridge. From the Burg exit follow the signs to S�dstrand. The reception is in the central Fernblick building.
