Hotel Fruhling am Zoo is a modern hotel located on Berlin's 'shopping mile', 300 metres from Berlin Zoo and the Zoologischer Garten train station. The 75 guestrooms feature white stucco walls and coloured fabrics and overlook the busy Berlin streets. All rooms include cable television with pay movies, direct dial phones, wireless Internet, desks, minibars and soundproof windows. Ensuite bathrooms have baths or showers and hairdryers.
Guests can relax with a drink in the hotel bar after a long day's business or shopping. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can book sightseeing tours and theatre tickets. Business guests can benefit from the fully equipped conference room. Wireless Internet facilities are available for guests with laptops. Those arriving by car will find parking facilities nearby. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area including Dicke Wirtin and Mary Sol. Opposite the hotel is the Kranzler Eck building which is home to many shops, bars and restaurants. The city's Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag Parliament building are six kilometres away and Alexanderplatz central square is eight kilometres from the hotel. Berlin Tegel Airport is also eight kilometres from the hotel and takes roughly 15 minutes by car.

Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and fares to the hotel cost around 20 EUR. An airport bus is available that connects to the underground system. The Kurf�rstendamm metro station is directly in front of the hotel, or bus number X9 stops at Zoologischer Garten railway station 300 metres from the hotel. Berlin's integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get out and about in the city. One ticket allows travel on all trains, trams, buses and ferries.
When driving from the airport, drive to the Stadtring Wilmersdorf or Stadtring Charlottenburg and exit at Kurfurstendamm. Follow the road for around 300 metres and the hotel is on the left hand side.
