Hotel Bourgogne is a charming hotel situated opposite the railway station in Nantes, within 500 metres of cultural town centre, the botanical gardens and the congress centre. The 40 guestrooms are simply decorated and all are equipped with Internet connections, televisions, telephones, and blackout drapes to help ensure a sound night's sleep.
After a busy day guests can relax with a drink in the hotel's bar and room service is offered round the clock. There is an express laundry service and the concierge can help with travel plans, ticket reservations and organising excursions. Parking is available nearby. Next to the train station, the pretty Jardin des Plantes (Botanical Gardens) is home to many rare plants and has a playground for children. Guests can visit the city's cathedral, head down to the Erdre for a riverboat cruise, or enjoy an evening in the lively Lieu Unique, an arts centre housed in the old LU biscuit factory. Nantes Atlantique airport is 8 kilometres (5 miles) from the hotel, a journey time of around 20 minutes. Hourly shuttle bus services connect the airport with Nantes city centre and the SNCF train station, opposite the hotel. Taxis are also available and cost around �15 20.
