The Chateau de Divonne is a nineteenth century residence set in 54 acres of land with views of the Alps and Mont Blanc, seven kilometres from Lake Geneva. The three floor hotel features 34 guestrooms, all of which include cable television, telephones, Internet connections, minibars and complimentary newspapers. Guestrooms overlook the Alps or the Jura Mountains, and are furnished in a traditional French style with richly patterned wallpaper and fabrics, exposed beams and antique style furniture. Marble bathrooms have bathtubs, bathrobes, hair dryers and toiletries.
Guests can enjoy a game of tennis or take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool. Those wishing to relax can enjoy the fresh mountain air on the terrace, relax with a drink in the bar, or take advantage of room service. The Vandome restaurant features large windows, mirrors, richly patterned drapes and parquet floors. The menu includes French dishes such as lobster salad with summer truffles, accompanied by fine wines from the hotel's extensive wine cellar. Guests can also enjoy wine tasting or aperitifs in the wine cellar's tasting room. Golf loving guests will find an 18 hole golf course conveniently located opposite the hotel, and Divonne casino is 500 metres away. There are several walking and mountain bike trails in the hotel grounds, and the Jura ski resort is 15 kilometres away. Geneva International Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

Driving Directions

Geneva Airport railway station is 300 metres from the Departures and Arrivals floors, trains stop at Geneva Comavin (city centre) and run every 20 minutes. Aero Ski Bus also provides services from Geneva Airport to many of the French ski stations. Taxis are also available outside the terminal.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the motorway towards Lausanne and take the first exit after Geneva. Drive through Divonne and at the casino roundabout head towards Gex. The hotel is 20 metres ahead on the left, opposite the golf course.
